October 31, 2006 – Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – Platinum Hotel Lounge Spa celebrated the resort’s formal opening yesterday, with the Well Spa located on the fourth floor receiving tremendous attention and garnering rave reviews. Inspiri Wellness designed, developed, and delivered the Well Spa Fitness Center, which features sleek contemporary finishes, an abundance of natural light, views of the Las Vegas Strip, and Star Trac cardiovascular and Freemotion strength equipment. Eileen Lenz of Inspiri selected these two commercial grade fitness equipment manufacturers as the project developers wanted the property’s gym amenity to stand uniquely apart from all others on the famed Strip.
The completed project not only accomplishes that objective, but does so in such a way that simultaneously raises the bar for fitness amenities within boutique resorts. Spa Director Courtney McGovern commented: “The response from our grand opening guests has been one of unanimous delight with regard to the Well Fitness Center. Marcus Hotels & Resorts of Milwaukee, Wisconsin developed the 255 one- and two-bedroom hotel boutique property located on East Flamingo Road just east of the Las Vegas Strip. Each unique suite within the non-gaming, non-smoking resort includes a gourmet kitchen, whirlpool tubs, and private balcony. In addition to the Well Spa, Platinum offers an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, STIR Lounge, and The Restaurant at The Platinum.
